A plant dieta is a form of deep shamanic training and initiation. Dieta are usually undertaken by people who are embarking upon shamanic work, particularly with plants. For some, it's the natural next step after Plant Spirit Connections or Shamanic Healing work, and is also one of the deepest forms of personal healing and growth available.

A dieta is a much stronger and deeper journey than a Plant Spirit Connection. It is opened, held and closed by a curendera who can work with strong shamanic plants, like Tobacco, who carries many perosnal dietas,  and who can monitor, align, and straighten the vibration of the plant within another person's body at a distance.

 

The dieta asks strict requirements of an apprentice to a Master Plant including the absence of salt, sugar, and oil for the duration. Other restrictions include spices and pungent tastes, as well as sexual abstinence and abstinence from intoxicants/alcohol. We give up something to receive something, we make room and are then filled by the healing energy of the plant. During a dieta, the plant integrates into the body, becoming part of it, and changing it forever on an energetic level. But more than that, it will birth and nurture a life-long relationship with an intimate guide, who also happens to be fully compassionate and infinitely wise.

There are different types and intensities of dieta. The strongest being an isolation dieta in a retreat setting. Presently we facilitate "social" dieta, and only for those who are ready. Participants are often required to undergo a plant spirit connection or other apprenticeship work to determine their readiness.

The dieta can be one, two or three months in length, and will be opened and closed in a private ceremony. There will also be a 2-4 week period of integration post dieta with gradually decreasing restrictions. We offer clearing, healing, teaching, and apprentice  dieta, but the level of dieta is literally decided by the plants.
